Whether it is enjoying the iconic music scene in Nashville, Tennessee, or hiking down an elevation change of 4,380 ft to the floor of the Grand Canyon, surfing monster waves in Hawaii, horseback riding through South Dakota, or staying up all night in the bright lights of Time Square, New York City.
With 50 states to choose from and four seasons of weather, your journey awaits. I’ll share my stories, and you decide if a US destination is right for you.
If you are planning an adventure, there is no shortage of one in one of the United States’ designated National Parks. The National Park system offers preserved beauty that redefines nature; breathless hikes, unobstructed views of lands untouched by man, galloping horseback trails, powdered ski slopes, and rivers aside thundering waterfalls.
The United States is unquestionably lucky that the government established an agency to protect its treasured lands. Sixty-three locations across thirty states have been defined based on natural beauty, unique geological features, diverse ecosystems, and recreational opportunities.
One can enjoy these National Parks with every outdoor vacation goal a consideration, from family reunions with every age group in mind or the master rock climber with aspirations of adrenaline-driven activities. Depending on which location and time of year you choose, the parks offer different ways to stay and enjoy them, from dry camping to luxurious hotels. I have only made my way to a few of them, but I am lucky enough to live in California, and with nine here locally to choose from, I hope I see them all soon.
Welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy my stories and the photos that bring them to life. They might even encourage you to pen a story of your own.
